If you follow the extremely popular TV series Outlander, (or have read the novels), you must come and visit Scotland to experience the country (land), that inspired author Diana Gabaldon, and the producers to make the TV show.

Diana Gabaldon is an American author, known for the outlander series of novels. Born 11/1/52 in Arizona, USA, she has won an award for best novel (RITA award for best novel with strong romantic elements). Outlander is the first in a series of eight historical multi-genre novels by Diana. Published in 1991.
What it is about….
For those still to stumble upon this amazing show or book, the series focuses on a married combat British army nurse Claire Randall. Claire is from 1945, but she is mysteriously swept back (time travel) to 1743, where her freedom and life are threatened instantaneously. She is forced to marry James Fraser (Jamie) a strapping romantic Scottish warrior, with an extremely complicated past and chivalrous and charming sense of humour. A passion is ignited, and Claire’s heart is torn in two between two lives and totally different men.
One man a natural leader of men, with no political ambitions and the other an intellectual academic.
This TV phenomenon has visitors flocking to Scotland in search of its natural beauty and amazing historic attractions.
