After the events of 2020. Staycations seem to be very popular. Lowland Motorhome Hire are here to help you enjoy a Motorhome Holiday
Well, what can we say, 2020 was a challenging year for everyone. COVID has certainly changed our lifestyle and attitudes to life in general, as well as for people’s thoughts on future holidays and short breaks.
Where before, booking a motorhome holiday, customers loved the idea of total freedom, to roam the country and park where they fancied in an evening.
Please don’t fret, you can still have all the fun and adventures with Staycations, we just advise on some points for you to consider, to ensure your holiday is carefree and enjoyable.
We would for the upcoming 2021 season and foreseeable future advise our customers to book campsites in advance.
Due to the huge increase in staycations, we wish to ensure your family enjoys the very best a motorhome holiday has to offer, with the added security of being safe in the knowledge you have somewhere to park up at the end of the day. That way ALL the family can relax and recharge your batteries for the next adventurous day.
Campsites mostly offer access to Fresh drinking water, Electric Hook Up (EHU), Chemical Toilet Emptying Facilities, Toilet and Showering Facilities, Grey Waste Disposal.
Campsites also all offer protection without your family worrying about where you are parked and reduces the risk of being moved on mid-evening due to parking restrictions. There will be no stress in trying to find a nice, secluded, and safe spot alongside hundreds of other motorhomes/caravan and campervan users.
The increase in traffic and popularity in staycations is absolutely fantastic for the Scottish Economy and our much-loved tourism and hospitality industries. And after last year, boy do they need it! However, it also increases the chances of not being able to find a nice, isolated tourist spot to stay overnight.
You can still have an amazing motorhome holiday; one your family will remember for years to come. The memories you make will last forever. Scotland is an outstanding place to visit and tour especially in the luxury of a house on wheels. The breath-taking views, fantastic sunrises, and sunsets and of course the amazing wildlife, outstanding castles, and most of all the freedom to roam.
